Greetings and welcome to my latest blog. Yes, I've blogged before and not learned my lesson.

Mostly, I'll be having fun with the current presidential campaign and the tsunami of surrounding silliness. There will be other subjects and interests - many other subjects and interests that I'll be introducing as we go along. It is only fair to warn that I am a professional electronic technician specializing in musical instruments, as a breed we are uniformly grumpy and opinionated. Some of my colleagues have attained the state of Curmudgeon by the age of 25. Most of my work deals with electric guitars, basses and the related amps and effects, but I work on everything from 1940s tube technology to state of the art synths.
